Here's how our little men are doing in the NICU! On their way to coming home...
1/8/2009 - admitted to NICU, IV and heat lamps.
1/9/2009 - feeding tubes put in, boys get 2 ml every 3 hours. Apnea starts and boys get caffeine to make sure their brains remember to tell them to breathe.
1/10/2009 - we get to hold the boys outside of their isolettes.
1/14/2009 - boys eat from a bottle and try to breastfeed!
1/21/2009 - no more isolettes, they get clothes and put in a crib together!
1/27/2009 - Gavin passed his carseat test, he might get to come home on friday. Lucas had an apnea episode last night so he's not eligible until sunday now.
1/29/2009 - Gavin is released from the hospital and gets to come home. We all stay together since Lucas can't come home yet, and we don't want to leave him alone.
2/6/2009 - we are all officially home together as a family! no more NICU!!!
