The boys are doing well; Christian and I started a new schedule of set "on call" hours so we're both getting more sleep. I'm on from 9 pm to 2 am and Christian is on from 2 am until he goes to work at 7 am. We each get to sleep in our bed for the block of time the other is "on call".
The boys are sleeping a bit better, we went back to swaddling and they are sleeping longer stretches. Still takes them awhile to calm down during their "witching" hour from about 5-10 pm. Sometimes they will feed twice in that time and never sleep. Gavin is a pretty colicky baby and will fuss for hours after he eats for no apparent reason, he finds comfort in being held, shushing and his binkie. Lucas is usually pretty good, and can settle himself down once he is tightly swaddled with his binkie - he often wakes up and just looks around or will stare at his snuggly Giraffe as he calmly falls asleep.
They are now eating between 3 and 4 ounces every three to four hours. This has allowed them to sleep longer, and us! It has also cut out one feeding per day so we're down to 7.
Both boys are getting very strong, and love to have tummy time on our tummies! We lay on the couch with them tummy down and they can now each lift their heads controlled, look all around and put it back down (usually without a face plant into our chest). They are also much more alert, looking around and watching us make noises and faces at them - something new in the past week or so. Their favorite thing to look at is the TV, "the view" and "days of our lives" are their favorite TV shows.
Two of my favorite recent photos are of the boys with their snugglies (below), my cousin Sara and her mom Candy sent us these when I was in the hospital on bed rest - they've been with the boys ever since. They love to feel the soft snuggly fabric between their fingers. Lucas's snuggly is a Lion and Gavin's is a Giraffe!
They are changing so much and getting so big, all in all they are such sweet babies and are doing their best to teach us the ropes!!!

I love your shutterfly pics. The boys are so cute - and SOOO little! I loved the one of them next to the football. Cute. I'm glad they are doing well and that you are settling into more of a routine - even if just a little!
