Today you weren't feeling very good, and it turns out you spiked a really high fever. We found out when you dropped mommy off at a friends baby shower and daddy took you guys to gasworks park to play. You got out of the car and fell to the ground and had a seizure, very scary. After daddy called 911 and you were checked by the EMT and firemen who showed up at the park, we drove you to Children's hospital emergency room to be checked. Lindsay drove me to meet you at the park since I wasn't there with you, I was so scared.
At first you weren't hot so no one knew why you were having the seizure, but when your fever spiked the ER doctors sent you home on tylenol and to rest. Poor buddy, we are so sorry that you are not feeling good. The doctors say you are at the high end age limit for this type of seizure but they are still certain that is what caused it so we don't think you will have any issues in the future. We will be sure to keep an eye on it, since it sure scared us all. Especially daddy who was alone with both of you boys and the dog. He did a good job of calling 911 and the fire department came to help you out - they even gave you both little beanie babies as you were so brave and helpful.
We later found out that the reason for your fever was you developed pneumonia. Dr Stephens caught this and put you on antibiotics to help you feel better.
